After driving to the Skokie L station, Glorian and I took the Yellow line to Howard, changed to the Red line and took that to Jackson.
We walked over to the Willis building to go up to the skydeck, But there was a 90 minute wait, so we decided to skip that.
After some hot chocolate at the nearest McDonalds, we walked east towards Michigan Avenue. At Michigan Avenue we walked north. We stopped at the Millennium Park, saw The Bean, and the Pritzger Pavilion.
We continued north, crossed the Chicago River, and saw the statue of Merilyn Monroe near the Tribune Building.
We used the magic of cellphones to meet Jonathan and went to lunch at the Athena Restaurant.
After a great meal, Jonathan took us to the nearest subway station, and we took the subway home.
