November 11th - Travel and Meramac Caverns

I got up very early, since David had to be at work early, and I wanted to say goodbye properly.

I left the Skolnicks' at about 8:15, after filling up the car, started driving east on I-70. The drive was nice, but kind of boring. At exit 193 at Warrenton, I turned to MO-47 and headed south.

Just before turning to I-44, I stopped and had some lunch, and then got on the highway and headed south west towards Meramec Caverns

The cave is lovely, if a bit 'civilized'. You walk along a concrete path.

After the cave visit, I headed towards St. Louis and my hotel for the weekend the Comfort Inn in Hazlewood, MO, just north of the St, Louis Airport.

I had planned to go to Friday Night Services and one of the synagogues, but fell asleep and woke up to late to go.

I had supper at one of the local Applbees.
