November 8th - WWI museum

I started  our at the National World War I Museum. It's a very nice museum which tries to show the reason for the war, and its progress.
I climbed up to Liberty Memorial Tower (an elevator takes you most of the way), but it was a waste of time, because there was no view. Once I got to the top, and went outside, it looked like I was looking at a white wall.

After the museum,  I went over to the Money Museum at the Kansas City Federal reserve. It was interesting, but I was glad it was free.

My next stop was the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City, where I got a nice tour, and had my puppy fix.

Next I drove to Kaw Point , which overlooks the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas rivers, and where Louis and Clark made camp for a few days on there way west.

I tried to get to Holland Park, which is on the other side of the Missouri, but I got lost, and decided to head back home.

In the evening we (Lisa, the kids and I) went to Stroud's for dinner). We had various types of fried chicken, which is their specialty.
